Referment has just been briefed on a brand new role which has recently opened in London with one of the worlds leading quantitative hedge funds! They are looking for a Senior Linux Engineer to work within a team that builds and supports the infrastructure for their quantitative trading business across all asset classes. This is one of the most business critical technology teams across the fund and they are known for having exceptional infrastructure engineers globally.
The team is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Linux Engineer with many years of experience working on Linux platforms within a quantitative/low latency trading environment. This is an engineering heavy role and the successful applicant should have experience with High Performance Computing, GPU's and exceptionally strong automation skills with scripting languages like Bash and/or Python.
This is a chance to join one of the household names in the world of quantitative trading and you will work alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry and on a cutting edge technology stack. You will get the chance to play the role of "tech lead" for this region, mentoring less experienced Linux Engineers and working on very important Linux Engineering projects and as such, be rewarded exceptionally well in terms of career progression and compensation.
