5.1 We receive personal data upon initial sign up via our website/platform. When you Sign up with Referment you MUST consent to us collecting and storing your personal information. You will not be able to submit any details to Referment without consenting to us storing your personal data. This may include but is not restricted to your name; contact details; address; employment history; mobility and education.
5.2 During telephone conversations, meetings or interviews we may collect personal information regarding your personal employment preferences and work background which may be stored on your personal record. By explicitly providing consent when you sign up with Referment you are providing permission for our storage of this information. Referment will never share personal information or a Curriculum Vitae with a third party without your explicit consent.
5.3 As with most recruitment firms, we deal with Candidates over the course of several years. For this reason, your consent includes explicit consent to retain your personal details until such time as you wish us to delete your records from our database or refrain from further engagement.
5.4 If you do not consent to Referment storing your personal data, please do not sign up to our website/platform.
6. How Do We Use Your Data?
6.1 We use your data to provide the best possible services to you. This includes:
6.2.1 Providing and managing your Account;
6.2.2 Providing and managing your access to Our Site;
6.2.3 Personalising and tailoring your experience on Our Site;
6.2.4 Supplying Our services to you;
6.2.5 Personalising and tailoring Our services for you;

7. Extended User Content
7.1 When a referral is made through our platform, we request only very basic information, for both the referrer and referee. We ask for name, email address and/or contact number.
7.2 If you are referred to us, we may sometimes use the details provided to contact you in relation to the nature of your referral.
7.3 If at any point you wish not to be contacted you have the right to opt-out at any time.
7.4 The data acquired through a referral will be stored, processed and used in the same manner as stipulated in Section 5.
8. How and Where Do We Store Your Data?
8.1 All personal data is stored securely in accordance with the principles of the data protection legislation (including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) (the “GDPR”). For more details on security see section 9, below.
8.2 We only keep your data for as long as We need to in order to use it as described above in section 5, and/or for as long as We have your permission to keep it.
