Referment have partnered exclusively with a crypto technology company who are shaping the future of digital assets infrastructure. They are financially backed by two leading financial institutions and looking for a new Security Operations Engineer to join their technology team here in London.
The successful Security Operations Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the Microsoft Azure environment is both available and secure. You will be involved in setting up, configuring, supporting, and updating the Microsoft Azure suite of tools you must have demonstrable experience of using InTune, Azure Key Vault, Defender for Cloud Apps, Email Security, Conditional Access, Entra ID SSO, Entra PIM, and SharePoint security. Experience with security concepts like zero trust, vulnerability, and patch management. This role be reporting to the Head of Security and closely working within a team of developers and C-level staff within an Agile Start-up environment.
This is a very good opportunity for someone to come in and make a significant impact, building a new security function for a small company that is going through an exciting period of growth.

Key Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience within Security Engineering
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and tools which supports security challenges within Azure.
- Broad experience with Security Operations
- Experienced with SIEM, IDPS, Cloud Security (ZeroTrust, CASB, SWG)
- Prior experience/keen interest in Cryptocurrency or digital assets – Advantageous
- Personal interest within Web3/De-Fi – Desirable
- Experience with using CrowdStrike – Highly Desirable
