Referment has partnered with a multi-strategy Hedge Fund that have an opening within their Macro and Fixed-Income Quant research team in London. They're starting a Greenfield project, which will involve a Greenfield Quant Library build-out focussing on Rates and FX and are seeking a skilled Junior Python Developer to join.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with some experienced quant researchers/analysts and utilise your strong Python skills to gain exposure to financial mathematics, modelling skills and a wide range of Quant Finance concepts that can boost your career into the world of Quant Finance. You must be passionate about programming as you will be an integral member of the team that delivers the modelling/mathematics into production, using Python.

Key Requirements:
- At least 2 years of Python programming
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong academic experience
- Passionate about working within a front office environment
- Keen to gain an insight into the world of Quant Finance
- Previously worked within the financial sector - Advantageous
- A passionate programmer who engages is side projects
