A leading technology driven hedge fund, known to be at the forefront of technology and innovation have an exciting opportunity available in their London based infrastructure team for a bright and enthusiastic End User Computing Engineer. The company has successfully ventured into new asset classes and due to a number of years of strong performance and headcount growth, they are looking to expand the team to accommodate this.
The successful End User Computing Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support for users at all levels within the fund, including traders, portfolio managers, quants and C-level stakeholders. This will include taking ownership of all of their Office 365 applications, desktop technologies and various mobile/video devices used across the organisation. You will also be working on infrastructure projects which involve building the backend infrastructure behind the desktop estate.
The successful applicant must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to build relationships with users and other colleagues within the technology teams. You will be responsible for handling incidents, working with vendors, understanding business requirements and making suggestions for improvements across the technology stack.

Key Requirements
- 2- 5 years of experience working in a Desktop Support/End User Support role
- Extensive experience with Powershell
- Expert knowledge of Office 365, Exchange and Virtualised desktop platforms
- In depth knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of Telephony, Audio Video and Hardware Devices
